Beyond the Build

A new product starts long before the first piece of wood is cut. It begins with conversations — understanding what a clinic or customer needs, defining requirements, and considering real-world constraints like safety, load capacity, and shipping size. Because we manufacture everything in-house in Fresno, CA, every design decision carries weight — from material costs to machining time and packaging.
Once parameters are set, we build initial CAD models and move quickly to a CNC-cut prototype. After confirming fit and function internally, the product is sent out for real-world testing. Feedback drives revisions, and that cycle often repeats for months until the design is fully validated.
From there, engineering drawings and production files are finalized, and manufacturing begins. Whenever a new product is introduced — or edits are made to an existing one — we photograph every stall bar variant to provide the most accurate visual representation possible, helping customers confidently choose the right setup for their space.
Taking a product from concept to production isn’t simple or inexpensive — but it’s how we continue expanding what your stall bars can do at home, in the clinic, or in the studio.

Studio Spotlight: Hometown Pilates
This edition, we’re excited to feature Hometown Pilates, owned and led by the passionate and knowledgeable Lindsay Pelletier.

Last year, Lindsay incorporated Beyond Balance equipment into her beautiful studio, thoughtfully adapting it to fit her space and better serve her clients. In August of last year, we had the pleasure of connecting with her to learn more about her approach. Her depth of knowledge and dedication to Pilates came through immediately — it was clear how intentionally she has built her studio to create an exceptional client experience.
Following our conversation, we implemented adjustments to our Pilates Push-Thru Bar based on her thoughtful feedback. Collaborations like this are a reminder of why we value working closely with studio owners — their real-world insight directly shapes how our equipment evolves.

Lindsay has been teaching Pilates since 2007 and is certified across all apparatus and levels through Core Dynamics with Michele Larsson. She is also a Certified Personal Trainer (ACE) and a Restorative Exercise™ Specialist. Over the years, she has worked with a diverse range of clients — from gymnasts to individuals with limited mobility — always tailoring her instruction to meet individual needs.
Outside the studio, Lindsay enjoys crafting, woodworking, nutrition, and gardening — passions that reflect her creative and holistic approach.
